A pump station is a vital component in situations where gravity alone isn’t sufficient to move wastewater due to distance or elevation issues. Typically installed underground, a pump station collects wastewater in a storage tank and then pumps it to another location, such as a mains sewer, a sewage treatment plant, or a designated discharge point. The system is controlled by an above-ground control panel, and access for maintenance is provided through a secure, removable lid or cover. The size and design of your pump station will depend on the specific site conditions and the volume of wastewater that needs to be handled.
A well-designed, properly installed, and regularly serviced pump station can provide many years of reliable service. At BURNBRIDGE & WATCHFIELD SERVICES, we collaborate closely with leading pump manufacturers to ensure that the pump stations we deliver are perfectly suited to your unique requirements. We don’t just stop at supplying the right equipment; we also handle the full installation, testing, and commissioning process to guarantee that your system meets all performance specifications.
Our experienced BURNBRIDGE & WATCHFIELD Install Team works hand-in-hand with the relevant authorities and agencies, including Building Control, Highways, and Water Companies, to ensure that your pump station is fully compliant with all regulatory standards. This level of coordination helps ensure a smooth and efficient installation process, minimizing any potential issues.
In addition to providing a reliable installation, we’ve developed advanced systems and processes for monitoring the ongoing performance of your pump station. This approach helps to reduce running costs by optimizing energy use, cutting down on maintenance requirements, and minimizing the risk of unexpected downtime. We aim to provide you with peace of mind, knowing that your system will function efficiently while keeping operating costs in check.
Whether your project involves a standalone pump station or a more complex system that integrates with other infrastructure, the BURNBRIDGE & WATCHFIELD Install Team is here to ensure that all your requirements are fully understood. We will guide you through the range of available options, ensuring you make an informed decision that best meets your needs.
EXCELLENT Based on 5 reviews John Gallop14. October, 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Richard is great - really understands how everything works and takes the time to explain it to a layman like me! Great job and a very fair price. Thanks guys Paul Smyth14. April, 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Worked closely with Richard and the Burnbridge team on a recent WWTW scheme. After initially contracting Burnbridge for the installation of two GRP settlement tanks, they showcased a wider skill set and ultimately delivered a wide range of works including steelwork fit out, pump & pipework installations and pressure testing. Always willing and helpful they were a pleasure to work alongside. Philip Davies31. March, 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We are very pleased with all our dealings with Richard and all the Team at Burnbridge Services, right from our first dealing with Burnbridge they have been very professional throughout the planning and installing and signing off all three projects, as well as being very helpful and reliable with any repairs or servicing required. Burnbridge have taken on three major projects for our company, firstly installing a new Graf UK sewage treatment plant and pump station to replace a septic tank that did not meet the latest General Binding Rules because we wanted the new system to be more environmentally friendly. Also at the end of last year they installed two of Graf UK’s XXL Carat tanks, 52,000 litres each at our Somerset branch. The rainwater is gathered by a gutter and filter system that takes the water off our large workshops roof into the two large tanks in the ground. We are very pleased with this system, and we are saving water already with Highbridge Caravan’s valeting staff being very impressed by washing vehicles with rainwater – using some 300,000 litres already – compared to tap water. There are now, for example, no white chlorine marks left on the vehicles, which used to happen when using tap water. By the end of this year, we should have used over one million litres of rainwater which we hope will go towards helping saving water in the future. The Rainwater tanks are also connected to the company toilets, so we are saving with every flush. The company is now better prepared for any potential hose pipe bans and we are starting to see a saving on our water bill. Finally Burnbridge completed a new wash at our Somerset site with a new oil separator and pump station installed. Thank you Richard and all the Team at Burnbridge Services for all your continued helpful and friendly advice and service. Caroline S28.
